Regina Curtis

Regina Curtis

Executive Vice President of Commercial Lending

Regina Curtis is an accomplished financial executive with more than 20 years of experience in commercial lending, credit administration, and portfolio management. She has a proven track record of leading high-performing teams, strengthening credit platforms, and driving disciplined, mission-aligned growth across diverse financial institutions.

Ms. Curtis began her career as a Real Estate Analyst Officer with California Bank & Trust, where she focused on credit analysis and portfolio management. She later joined Alliance Bank of Arizona as Senior Commercial Underwriter for the Commercial Real Estate Division.

In 2014, she became Vice President of Commercial Real Estate Lending, where she managed business development, credit analysis, and portfolio oversight for more than $200 million in commercial real estate assets. In 2017, Ms. Curtis joined Western Alliance Bank’s Public and Nonprofit Finance Group as Vice President of Portfolio Management, leading a team of credit analysts responsible for underwriting and managing a portfolio exceeding $250 million. She also played a key role in implementing structured policies and procedures to support department-wide efficiency and consistency.

Ms. Curtis joined Greater Nevada Credit Union in 2023 as Vice President of Commercial Credit Administration, supporting the successful expansion of the Commercial Lending team. She was promoted in 2024 to Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending, where she oversaw Greater Commercial Lending (“GCL”) and guided the organization through a critical period of transition, stabilization, and renewed strategic direction.

She now serves as Executive Vice President of Greater Commercial Lending, where she leads GCL’s overall strategy and operations with a focus on operational excellence, sustainable growth, and impactful lending that strengthens businesses and communities.

Ms. Curtis earned a B.A. in Business Management with a minor in Communications from Arizona State University. She has been an active member of Arizona Commercial Real Estate Women (AZCREW) and the Women in Public Finance Mountain Region Chapter.

Megan Penn

Megan Penn

Director of Investor Relations

Megan Penn is the Director of Investor Relations for Greater Commercial Lending, where she directs the strategy, operations, and workflow of the Investor Relations Department. With more than 28 years of experience in banking and commercial lending, she oversees all investor and participation servicing activities, ensuring accurate remittances, strong operational controls, and clear communication with investors, participants, and internal partners.

In her role, Megan reviews participation agreements, servicing fee administration, monthly reporting, and account reconciliation. She provides support for loan sales and participation processing, oversees technology enhancements and vendor relationships, and ensures system upgrades are implemented effectively. Megan is a key contributor to GCL’s annual SOC examination process, coordinating between auditors and internal control owners to maintain strong compliance standards.

Megan’s background includes leadership roles in investor relations, core system technologies, and branch operations at Greater Nevada Credit Union and Wells Fargo. She is recognized for her expertise in complex commercial transactions, her attention to detail, and her commitment to operational excellence.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Communication with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno, and is a graduate of the Reno + Sparks Chamber Leadership Program.

Amy Sharpe

Director of Loan Servicing

With extensive experience in commercial and specialty loan servicing, Amy Sharpe is a proven operations leader with deep expertise in complex loan structures and team development. She is committed to accuracy, strong compliance practices, and efficient workflow management. Known for her analytical approach and practical problem-solving skills, she consistently improves processes, strengthens internal controls, and supports high-quality service delivery. Her specialties include commercial and government-guaranteed loan servicing, process improvement, workflow optimization, complex loan reconstruction, team leadership, and compliance oversight.

As the Director of Loan Servicing for Greater Commercial Lending, Amy leads all servicing operations, including loan boarding, payment and payoff processing, Construction Draw administration, tickler monitoring, and file coordination. She also manages the company’s operating account, monthly servicing fee invoicing, and all required SBA and USDA reporting. Amy holds numerous industry certifications, including Principles of Banking, Crucial Conversations, multiple UCC training programs, and advanced coursework in assessing commercial borrowers and insurance requirements. She is dedicated to maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and service excellence.

Greg Castle

Syndication and Lending Relationships Manager

Greg Castle leads the capital markets and syndications department at Greater Commercial Lending and brings more than a decade of experience in retail banking, commercial lending, and capital markets. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Montana State University. Prior to joining GCL in 2019, Greg worked at US Bank, where he quickly advanced into a leadership role in the retail bank, demonstrating a strong ability to tailor solutions to his clients’ needs. Since joining GCL, he has helped grow and develop the syndication and capital markets function into its own department, overseeing the sale of more than $500 million in USDA- and SBA-guaranteed loans and building lasting relationships with broker-dealers and financial institutions across the country.

Greg is known for his hands-on approach, attention to detail, and collaborative style, making complex transactions run smoothly for clients and partners alike. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, camping, and golfing, finding that time outdoors helps him stay balanced and brings fresh perspective to his work.
